SERVICES

**We're closed until May 2025 due to staffing issues.  Please return to our website in April 2025 to make your reservation for next summer.  The only other boarding services I know of are found on rover.com**

Being dog owners and lovers ourselves, we are offering an adventure day for your K9.   The adventure starts with a drive up a dirt historic Yosemite stagecoach road to our house. We are 30 minutes from Yosemite Valley but inside the park gates.  When reservations are required, you will need a reservation to reach our business.   At the dog boarding areas,  we have a big outside fenced area with kennels to allow your K9 to enjoy nature, with new smells, and shaded space to run around.   Our goal is to provide a fun and safe day for your K9, while you're out enjoying Yosemite.

WHAT IS THE COST?

  • The fee is $15 per hour.

  • There is a mandatory $20 deposit to hold the reservation.  Paid by Venmo or PayPal.

  • The deposit is refundable up to 12 hours prior to arrival.

  • Deposit is due when reservation is confirmed.

WHAT IS INCLUDED AND WHAT TO EXPECT?

  • There are five private 4'x4'x4' kennels within a large fenced in area.

  • Each K9 will have access to playing solo or with other dogs in the fenced in dirt area.

  • Maximum of 6 dogs on premises.  Including our dog Ember who will most likely greet you when you arrive.

  • Each kennel has a large water bowl and there is small plastic pool in the group play area.

  • All kennels have shade and misters.

  • You will need to walk 300 feet on a dirt road to the kennels.  This is the distance from our house to the business where the kennels are set up.

To get to our property it is 2 miles on a gravel road, most vehicles can make it fine. There are dirt speed bumps and your car will get dusty. Yosemite K9 Kennels were a lifesaver! We had been looking for months for someone to watch our dog for the day while we hiked in Yosemite and we found them about a week before our trip. Kylie was very good with communication and responding in a timely manner. Robbie greeted us when we arrived and showed us the facility. They have a good sized fenced in area that my dog enjoyed running around in, and a 4x4 kennel area that she relaxed in. Kylie took her on multiple walks during the day and sent me pictures! They reassured us that our dog would be safe and that helped give me peace of mind while I enjoyed my hike. Super nice people, definitely would recommend using them! Your dog will have an awesome day!

ABOUT US

Your pet's adventure starts here.

We are pet lovers who live in the perfect place to entertain your K9 while you're out enjoying Yosemite.  The adventure starts on the way to our home where the kennels are. You’ll travel 2 miles on a gravel dirt road, which is one of the old stagecoach roads into Yosemite Valley. You'll then arrive at our historic homestead, The Flying Spur.  I'm fortunate to be the 4th generation to live here only 30 minutes from Yosemite Valley.  Living here the past 13 years, I've enjoyed the infinite ways of adventuring from rock climbing, backpacking, to hiking and swimming.  Through the years, I've seen the need for a safe and fun option for pets.  Being dog owners and lovers ourselves, we feel for those who end up here with their pets not realizing the limited places they can go.  With years of experience, I'm happy to offer trip advice for your time here as well.  It's a large park and can be confusing!

At Yosemite K9 Kennels, our goal is to give you peace of mind to enjoy Yosemite, while your K9 has their own adventure. Our property is adjacent to the Stanislaus National Forest, where we give each K9 an adventure walk if you choose. Take a look at our site and get in touch with questions or concerns.

We thank you in advance for allowing our family be part of your Yosemite experience.
